MY SERVICES
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to vulvodynia, and the same is true of recovery. I've created different ways to help you better understand your pain and take an active role in your journey.
1
BEYOND VULVODYNIA
When I first developed vulvodynia, I wished someone could explain what was happening to my body and why. Years later, after navigating my own recovery and becoming a psychologist, I wrote the book I wish I’d had back then.
Beyond Vulvodynia brings together scientific research, clinical knowledge, and lived experience to help you understand the many factors that may be contributing to your pain. From hormones and pelvic floor muscles to the nervous system, inflammation, and emotional well-being, it explores how these pieces can interact and what you can do to support your recovery.
2
SELF-PACED PROGRAM
Understanding why you’re experiencing pain is important, but sometimes knowing what to do with that information is the harder part.
This self-paced program is designed to help you put that knowledge into practice through guided exercises and techniques focused on the mind-body connection, nervous system regulation, and developing a different relationship with pain.
Work through the material at your own pace, revisit the practices whenever you need them, and begin building tools you can incorporate into your everyday life.
3
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
No two women experience vulvodynia in exactly the same way. Your history, your symptoms, and the factors contributing to your pain are unique to you, and your therapeutic support should reflect that.
In our individual sessions, we’ll explore your experience of chronic pain and the psychological, emotional, and nervous system factors that may be playing a role. Drawing on my background as a psychologist and my experience working with women with vulvodynia, I offer a space to make sense of what you’re going through and work toward meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.
